Walla Walla County's own project page and local reporting show the campus is still in permitting, not construction. The county held a pre-application meeting on April 29, 2026, issued a Notice of Incomplete Application on June 23, 2026, and issued a Notice of Complete Application on August 24, 2026 (files SDP26-01 and SEPA26-05). As of September 1, 2026 no final land-use decision has been made and construction has not been initiated. The record's current 'under_construction' status is not supported by these sources.
